You have started walking at six in the morning because it is the only time the streets are empty.
You cross the road when you see another dog coming. The doorbell goes and the whole house loses it. You have come home to a chewed door frame, or a neighbour has said something, or someone has crossed over to get away from you.
Maybe somebody has told you your dog is dangerous.
And somewhere in the middle of all that, you have had a thought you have not said out loud, which is whether they would be happier somewhere else.
None of that makes you a bad owner. It usually means nobody has sat down with you and explained what your dog is actually doing, or why he keeps doing it.
That is where I come in.
I have worked with dogs my whole career, from handling and training dogs in the prison service through to training assistance dogs with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to help change people’s lives.
DM Dog Training is what I do with all of that, for owners near me who are struggling and do not know where to turn next.
For reactivity, aggression and separation. For the dog who cannot walk past another dog, or cannot be left, or has everybody in the house walking on eggshells. One to one, in the places the problem actually happens.

I have a very dog reactive dog and the scent detection has been a great activity for her to do. It somehow makes her calm as she focuses on what she is doing.
