Who I am
DM Dog Training is run by Dec Malarkey in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor, East Yorkshire. I am responsible for the personal information you share with me through this website. If you have a question about it, email dmdogtraining@outlook.com.
What I collect and why
The Book a Call form. Your name, email address, phone number, details about your dog and what you tell me in the message box. I use them to reply to you, arrange your call and, if we go ahead, to plan and deliver the work. The form is delivered to my inbox by Web3Forms.
WhatsApp and email. Your name, number or email address and anything you send me. I use them to reply and to arrange sessions.
Video calls. Calls take place on Zoom. I do not record a call without asking you first.
Online bookings. If you book your call or a class online, the booking and any payment are handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy.
Website statistics. If you accept cookies, the site uses Google Analytics, and may use the Meta pixel, to count visits and see which pages people find useful. These tools do not tell me who you are.
My lawful basis
Replying to your enquiry and delivering training is done at your request, before and under our agreement. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Client records, including behaviour reports, are kept while we work together and for up to 6 years afterwards for insurance and legal reasons.
Who I share it with
I never sell your information. It is only handled by the services named above and my website host, to do the jobs described. Some of these services are based outside the UK and use approved safeguards when they handle your data.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email dmdogtraining@outlook.com and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The site only sets analytics or advertising cookies if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
